Well, we were having so much fun with the fist set of cards that we decided to design a second set of cards for you all! This set has 6 cards total, which is one more than the first set. There are (5) 5×7 folded cards (and one is a fun vertical format!) and one 5×5 folded card. Again, keeping with the simplistic theme that Chocolate Cactus is known for, these are sure to please even the pickiest client!

First bit of news – I am nearly done with the 2009 Holiday Card templates! I am very excited to bring these to you this year. They are my most versatile set yet! The best way to describe them would be “retro vintage” – hmm… :o)

After the last year of receiving numerous requests from wedding photographers, I finally squeezed in some time to design these card templates! These are modern, clean cards and versatile as well. They can be used as other types of cards – birth announcements, moving cards, etc!

There are (6) templates in the set
All are 5×7, layered Photoshop .psd files
All are conformed with bleeds added per WHCC, but can be easily modified to conform to your printer’s specs

Well, finally – FINALLY! You know what they say about the shoemaker’s kids…well, that was me in a nutshell. Trying to wrap up a ton of projects left me with little time to get the blog done, but I finally managed to! New blog, new look, new pricing – lots of new things! Freebie boy announcement!

Yep – free, gratis! 5×7 in size (with a .25″ bleed already added), a layered psd with a layer mask for the image so you have to do is plop your photo into it. I’ve had this one for a while that I slapped together and decided to give it away.

The font used on the sample I believe was Georgia, but in the psd, I used Times so that it won’t give errors if you don’t have the font. I simply typed the info, then used the spacebar to make it fit nicely within the swirl.

Colors can be easily changed using the Color Overlay option at the bottom of your layers palette. Just select the layer, then go to Color Overlay, choose the color and voila.

To insert your image, click on the layer called “Image”, then using your magic wand tool, select the circle. Open the image you’d like to use, go to Select, Select All, then go to Edit, Paste Into (not Paste) and that’s it! The image will be within the circle, and you’ll be able to move it around freely using the move tool.
