well, hello there!

Welcome to the Chocolate Cactus blogsite.  A little of this and a little of that, all rolled into one big ball of goodness.  Here you will be able to read the latest, see recent works and read random babbles all in one place.  You're one lucky duck.

With nine years of design experience and an accomplished marketing background, owner and creative director Jodi Bell prefers a straightforward, personalized approach to her design work. "Everything I design is done with marketing in mind," states this former designer for a Houston-based magazine. It is her philosophy that "Standout designs equal effective marketing". The result is that the marketing and branding process is made infinitely easier for her clients. Jodi's portfolio reveals her love of typography and clean, no-frills designs. It is this that makes her designs standout creations that market themselves. 


Chocolate Cactus offers a variety of design work. Jodi's talents include creating complete identities to collateral materials and logo designs. Aside from logos, one of her specialties is custom one-of-a-kind announcements and wedding invitations. Because her clean, fresh designs appeal to a wide variety of industries, her client list includes not only photographers worldwide but also boutiques, auto manufacturers and just about everything in between.

Jodi has a special affinity for her photographer clients, most likely because she's a photographer herself, having won accolades and recognition for her photographic work. A self-professed font queen, Jodi lives in the Houston, Texas area with her husband and four sons. She continues the hunt for clean, fabulous typography...over 3,500 fonts and counting.

Refunds
Due to the digital nature of my templates, refunds are not given once downloaded or emailed to you. If the product has been paid for but not yet emailed (if not an immediate download), I will happily refund your money.

 

Program Compatibility
By purchasing my templates, you are agreeing that you have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or higher or Photoshop Elements. These cannot be modified within any other program. They are all 300 dpi, layered Photoshop .psd files.

 

Payments
All payments are accepted via PayPal only. I accept not only PayPal payments through them, but credit cards as well. You do not need a PayPal account to pay by credit card. Once payment is received by me, you will receive your templates via email within 48 hours. Be sure to include an email address in your payment, and also be sure to include which templates you are purchasing as I sell many types.

*Update* I am working on getting my shop up and running, and once I do, you will be able to immediately download templates upon purchase. Payments will still only be accepted via PayPal.


Miscellaneous
Templates are not to be sold, reproduced, given away or altered beyond their original design in any way. If you do, I will hunt you down. (Not really, but it sounded good) Just stay honest, that’s all I ask!

 

Images/Logos
Be aware that templates will not come with filler images, or with filler logos seen on the online samples. Also, text in the templates is there as a placeholder and is written in Latin. It is there to simply type over and replace with your own.
